Taking & Submitting Your Photo
Thanks again for your purchase! Below you'll find instructions on taking and sending your reference photo.
For kits - please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery after you send your photo.
For in person classes - photos due 6 days prior to your class - sooner the better!

- Well lit - I need to be able to see the details to draw it

Hands -
Class: avoid unless you have art experience
Kit: if they are included in your photo, keep in mind they will come out a bit cartoon-y unless you have painting experience - since the at home kits are meant to be more expressionistic, this is fine - I just like to give the heads up. - Fabric - if doing a seated pose, best to pose on a floor so we don’t have to contend with fabric folds from blankets hiding your body - unless that is what you’re going for!
- Underwear - full body fishnet stockings and the like will get lost - you’ll end up painting over it
- Cropping - Photos will be cropped to fit an 11x14 canvas - please avoid cropping too much of the photo yourself so I have wiggle room
TIP: Take a front facing video - hit your poses for several seconds before switching - then you can screenshot from the video! Holding poses for several seconds will be key so your photo isn't blurry.
